Crown center

It's been a super nasty winter but the last few weeks it's actually been sunny. I love it, being couped up in the house has been so frustrating, I've taken every opportunity to get outside I can dog park, playground and the swing outside. It was exciting the other day I looked outside and saw the flower above, yeah! Last Friday Trey and I went to the park he loved the slide.
Here are some Ramdom pictures from the last few weeks of us doing our family things and hanging out with mister!
The picture above it's at my husbands business. On Saturday they had a sandwich making contest and it was on the radio and in the newspaper. Mister and I went down there to support Rob/Daddy, he was super busy but he still found time to give mister a hot dog and compliment him on his fly outfit. Trey was so happy he did a little dance on Robs desk.

Sunday was Rob's Mimi's birthday, we went to the Hyatt for brunch and then to the fairytale exhibit for at Hallmark Crown center. The first time around the exhibit trey was a little nervous and held my hand but by the third time around we were having a hard time finding him.
Happy birthday Mimi! Is it going to bite my hand?
Wow this train is awesome mom!
Hey mom this chair is to big and the other is two small. Was Cinderella taking this carriage through the ghetto? Is that why it has bars? That's all folks!

How is it possible to know so many people born in January

Hello,
Sorry it's taken me so long to write I will try to get better about it. All right January has been a super busy month for us. We have been invited to over five birthday party's this month. So every weekend we are doing something.

All right to start, I have had many request to post a picture of the ring Rob bought me for Christmas. The one on top is the new one, it is one of the best presents I have ever received.
My best friend Emily's birthday was a few weeks ago and we went ice skating at crown center (the Hallmark corporate shopping center). I haven't been in a long time so I didn't know if I would remember, after a few laps it came back to me. Judy on the other had went around the ice three times and quit.

At the hallmark ice cream parlor. Unfortunately I am allergic to milk so I didn't get any ice cream
:(.
New years weekend our friends came in to town to visit and thanks to their good looks we got free tickets to see the Harlem Globetrotters. Trey loved it. ( I think it was just the music they played the whole time).

Here's a picture of trey in his big boy bed. This lasted about a month and he started getting out of it about every other hour at night. Online I read that a parent should set-up a pack n'l Play ,ask the child if they want to sleep in a big boy bed or a baby bed. When asked this Trey picked up his blanket and placed it in the pack n' Play, he has been sleeping in the pack n' play the last week.

Here's a video of Trey dancing.

Blog ya later,

December

Man I really need to keep up on these. This has been a busy month for us but a really good one. Christmas was wonderful this year. When Rob and I got married we couldn't afford the top half of my wedding ring. Christmas eve Rob woke me up, gave me the top half of my ring and re proposed. I am hard to surprise (since I am a snooper) and I was totally amazed, he is so romantic. Trey got a new Trike and Rob a new watch. I also got a new Flip cam soooo get ready for some videos. Trey is getting so big the other day I caught him down in the basement pretending to eat dinner it was so cute, he is also sleeping in a toddler bed, and today he came home from Nana's knowing where his nose is!

Fall part two

All right everybody here is part two of the blog. I also want to tell some funny random information. As many of you know I really like to shop, but I am trying to become a frugalista. So I have become a coupon clipper. Here are some good websites below, but remember to set up a junk e-mail account..
http://www.blogs.com/topten/10-best-coupon-mommy-blogs/
http://www.moneysavingmom.com/
http://print.coupons.com/couponweb/Offers.aspx?pid=13306&zid=iq37&nid=10&bid=alk120619121017c969a6e15314

This year I got all of my Christmas photo cards for free from one of these blogs. The down side is it is time consuming, it takes a long time to go to the different sites and find the right coupons, find the correct item at the store and then when you get to the ready to pay your that person in the line (and if your like me you have to dig through your coin purse and people are like " Happy Hanukkah " and you say "I'm not Jewish" and their like "could have fooled me.")

Another random event:

One night rob and I were quite sad, you see K-State had just lost to MU Rob and I thought that nothing was going to cheer us up but then on the drive home we saw this randomly parked in the Walgreen's parking lot!! So I had to take a picture in front of the ghostbusters car!! On thanksgiving day we all went over to Robs grandma's house to eat and after we all of us girls played rummy.

Kayla, Karen and Judy ( I think Judy was trying to look at Karen's cards)

Rando (My mom) in the picture with Kayla and Dylan

the Schmidt family, and Dylans bag of gold.

On Friday my mom and I went and saw Wicked it was really good I would recommend it to anyone.

And the highlight of the weekend Disney on Ice! Trey loved it and it was really awesome for us after when he took a three hour nap.
